Lily Neill

For the next Vaguely Sunny event, a leading international musician is coming to Brading to perform in a concert to be held at St Marys Church on Saturday, November 29th at 7.45pm.

American harp player Lily Neill specialises in the traditional music of Ireland and Scotland.

Originally from Washington, DC, Lily completed her degree in Irish music with Ist class honours at the University of Limerick in the spring of 2007. Since then she has been based in Helsinki, Finland working and studying at the prestigious Sibelius Academy.

Lily performed a concert for American President Bill Clinton at the age of fourteen, and she has since gone on to appear at major Irish Music Festivals both in Europe and North America. Perceptive Island singer songwriter David Hughes - who is just about to release his second CD 'Sign Language' will be supporting Lily at St Marys, and all profits from the concert will be donated to Church funds. Light refreshmewnts will be available.
