Pumphouse Gang Re-Union One of the best known Isle of Wight bands of the mid to late seventies - The Pumphouse Gang - are re-forming for a charity gig which takes place at Ryde Castle on Saturday, January 23rd.
The much-loved bands line up is :
John Edwardes - aka Rikki Wreckage -vocals
John Lytle - aka Ralph Von Wau Wau - bass
Phil Oswald - aka SG Coolbridge - guitar
Phil Jones - aka Dread 'Family Man' Jones - drums
John Edwardes is returning from his home in Majorca for the gfig which is in aid of the Earl Mountabatten Hospice. Also appearing are a couple of other bands from that era - Mechanix and Cats Like Plain Crisps.
Tickets are available from Strings,Ryde, The Simeon Arms, Ryde and the Earl Mountbatten Hospice Shops in Newport.
